START YOUR OWN SMALL BUSINESS Learn how to take your dream of starting a business and put it into action. In this class, you'll learn everything you need to know about starting a business. You'll begin by discovering the tricks to picking the right opportunity for you. Next, you'll learn how to develop proven marketing techniques to easily build sales. Since every business needs money, we'll discuss traditional and nontraditional financing options. Finally, you'll learn easy-to-implement employee-management procedures and how to write business policies that help you build your business.
You, as a business owner, need to manage all your limited resources. One resource that often gets overlooked is your time. In the final lesson, you'll learn time-management techniques especially for entrepreneurs. While taking this course, you'll discover the secrets that separate the successful entrepreneurs from the struggling ones.

The courses aredesigned by a team of professionals from each respective field who work toprovide you with an effective web-based learning experience. Prior to your coursestart date, you will receive a reminder e-mail that includes instructions onhow to access the classroom website. Courses are hosted on ed2go's learningmanagement system (LMS). Each program includes a set of lessons/modules andevaluations.

Therefund policy for Fayetteville Technical Community College's ContinuingEducation Division was established by the North Carolina Department of CommunityColleges, Raleigh on October 15, 1993. The full refund policy is listed in theNC Administrative Code 23NCAC.2D.0203 (d) Brief Statement of Policy:
A pre-registered extension student who officially withdraws from an extension class(es) prior to the first meeting of the class (should be 24 hours prior) will be eligible for a 100-percent refund by completing an official request form.
The refund will be 75 percent if requested prior to the 10-percent date of the class(es) meeting.
No refunds will be given after 10-percent of class meetings.
Enrollment Policy
Deadline for registration is 5:00 P.M. (EST) Wednesday, a week before thecourse begins.

To be officially enrolled in a course, students MUST log on and complete Quiz 1 by the first Friday of a course.
To receive a passing grade for the course, students MUST complete 9 out of 12 quizzes and pass the final exam with a grade of a 70 or better. Failure to meet both requirements will result in a grade of "U" or unsatisfactory.
Double-check your receipt to make sure that you choose the correct course title and date!
Once the home page pulls up, please type the course name into the Search Catalog bar at the top of the screen and press enter.
When the course description pulls up, please click the red Add to Cart button.
Choose your course date from the listing of dates in the "Session Date" drop down menu, and select the Continue to Checkout button.
On the next page, if you are a returning student, please enter your e-mail address and password in the appropriate fields. At that point, continue through the steps until you reach the "Checkout" page.
If you have never taken an Ed2Go course before, please create a username and password by clicking the link for new students. After creating your username and password, continue through the steps until you reach the "Checkout" page.
Please click the "Checkout" button.
After clicking the "Checkout" button, you will be taken to a page where you will read through the registration and payment information.
If you have already registered and paid your registration fee on the Learn FTCC website, you will not need to make a payment for your course. At that time, please click on the "Enter My Classroom" button.
If you have not registered and paid your registration fee on the Learn FTCC website, you will be directed to the Learn FTCC website to register and pay your registration fee. Afterwards, please click on the "Enter My Classroom" button.
On the next page, please click the "Orientation" button on the next page and complete it.
Write down your username and password in a safe location!
On the start date of your course, you will return to the www.ed2go.com/ftcc home page, and click on the Classroom link to access your course or courses.

It is a small institution with an enrollment of 3,738 undergraduate students. The Fayetteville Tech acceptance rate is 100%. Popular majors include Liberal Arts and Humanities, Business, and Information Technology.
In order to be eligible for enrollment, a high school student must meet the following criteria: Current High School Junior or Senior. Unweighted High School GPA of 2.8 or higher. Qualifying Test Scores if Unweighted GPA is below 2.8 (see testing chart below)
Curriculum courses at FTCC require foundational skills in reading, English and math. Unless applicants meet one of the test exemptions, the Reinforced Instruction for Student Excellence (RISE) test is required to evaluate any areas in which you need refresher help.
The graduation fee is $25 per degree or diploma program. Students graduating from multiple programs will need to pay the fee for each program. Student's applying for a certificate only (no degree or diploma) will need to pay the $25 fee per certificate.
FTCC serves approximately 37,000 students annually through its various Curriculum and Corporate & Continuing Education opportunities. What began as a vision over fifty years ago evolved into what is perceived by many as the pillar of the community in Cumberland County.
Fayetteville State University is test-optional, which means that it does not require applicants to submit their SAT or ACT scores. That means that some students will submit their test scores and others will not.
Is a placement test hard? Placement tests aren't necessarily hard. These exams primarily cover the Algebra that you learned in high school, so whether or not they are hard depends on how well you did in Algebra.
GRADING AND WEIGHTING STANDARDS. points is standardized and made equivalent under each option. conversion of percentage grades to letter grades according to the following scale: 93-100=A; 85-92=B; 77-84=C; 70-76=D; <69=F.
Fayetteville State admissions is somewhat selective with an acceptance rate of 81%. Students that get into Fayetteville State have an average SAT score between 870-1060 and the ACT score range is 14-19. The regular admissions application deadline for Fayetteville State is rolling.
