This Minecraft tutorial explains how to craft a Crafter with screenshots and step-by-step instructions.
In Minecraft, a Crafter is a new item that was introduced in Minecraft 1.21 - Tricky Trials Update. The Crafter allows you to craft items using Redstone. Just add your ingredients to the Crafter to choose your crafting recipe. Then once the Crafter is powered by a Redstone pulse, the crafting grid on its top face will light up red and the Crafter will eject the recipe result from the front face. If the recipe output has any remainder items (such as a Bucket), both the remainder item and the result will be ejected together. The lights on the back face indicate its current powered state.
Let's explore how to make a Crafter.

Required Materials to make a Crafter
In Minecraft, these are the materials you can use to craft a Crafter:
How to craft a Crafter in Survival Mode
1. Open the Crafting Menu
First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3x3 crafting grid that looks like this:
2. Add Items to make a Crafter
In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3x3 crafting grid. To make a Crafter, place 5 iron ingots , 1 crafting table, 1 dropper and 2 redstone dust in the 3x3 crafting grid.
When making a Crafter, it is important that the iron ingots, crafting table, dropper and redstone dust are placed in the exact pattern as the image below. In the first row, there should be 3 iron ingots. In the second row, there should be 1 iron ingot in the first box, 1 crafting table in the second box and 1 iron ingot in the third box. In the third row, there should be 1 redstone dust in the first box, 1 dropper in the second box, and 1 redstone dust in the third box. This is the Minecraft crafting recipe for a Crafter.
Now that you have filled the crafting area with the correct pattern, the Crafter will appear in the box to the right.
3. Move the Crafter to Inventory
Once you have crafted a Crafter, you need to move the new item to your inventory.
Congratulations, you have made a Crafter in Minecraft!
